YOUTH ARE BACK!!! WE’RE IN PERSON!!!
Join the Sunday Biblical Institute Youth Department as we resume IN-PERSON classes for the Fall-Spring season, starting September 7, 2025.

Classes: We offer classes for grades Pre-K through 12th.
Time: Classes will be conducted on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sundays of the month, starting promptly at 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM

JESUS AND ME YOUTH MINISTRIES – (JAM) AWANA & (JAM) TEEN

Come join us for JAM AWANA (Age 3 – 6th Grade) and JAM Teen (Grades 7 – 12). We are looking forward to both returning and new youth joining us in person every Friday night except the third Friday at 7:00 PM. The Youth Ministry Registration form can be completed on-line. We are in need of adult volunteers, no training needed. FBCHP ALZHEIMER’S SUPPORT GROUP for Caregivers

The Alzheimer’s Support Group for Caregivers is a compassionate and nonjudgmental gathering of individuals who have similar responsibilities in caring for loved ones affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Members share their experiences, as well as encourage and inspire one another. Along with any new information, they also share tips and resources that are relevant to group discussions.  Group meetings will be via Zoom on the 2nd and 4th Monday evenings from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  Please contact Reverend Cheryl McNeill at alzsupport@fbchighlandpark.org if you have any questions.

DIVORCE CARE – HOPE REBORN

“If you are experiencing hurt, heartache, anxiety, anger or depression as a result of divorce or separation, we invite you to join First Baptist Church of Highland Park’s fall 2025 session of DivorceCare-Hope Reborn. SOWING SEEDS SEWING MINISTRY

Welcome back Sewing Ministry! Get ready for an exciting new season with new projects and quilt making designs.  We will resume our regular sewing schedule on Monday, September 8, 2025. Classes will be held in the Fellowship Hall on Monday evenings at 6:00 PM, as well as on Tuesdays at 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM, and Thursdays at 9:30 AM. FBCHP MATH TUTORIAL PROGRAM

Math Tutoring will be returning for the 2025-2026 school year. Mark your calendar and save the dates September 25, 2025 – May 21, 2026. Sessions are open for students in 3rd grade – 12th grade.

Can your child solve their grade level math problems? Enjoying math can take your child to great places but it all starts with practice. If your child is having anxiety about returning to math class. Then register them for the upcoming Math Tutoring session at Highland Park where a great team of leaders are ready to get your child to the next level.

HOMECOMING WITH A TWIST – WHO YOU REPPING

Banquet Halls A&B.  First Baptist Church of Highland Park has enjoyed a rich tradition of welcoming members of the Divine 9-National Pan Hellenic Council for a Saturday evening worship service. To be more inclusive, this year we will host “Homecoming with a Twist: Who are You Repping? Attendees are encouraged to wear clothing that will depict or “rep” their: Church, College/University, Fraternity/Sorority, High School, Hometown. We aim to create a pep-rally-like fellowship with one another before engaging in an ultimate worship experience with a message from God. So, the question is: Who are You Going to Rep?

2025 WOMEN OF FIRE WOMEN’S CONFERENCE – The Women of Fire Ministry presents “Dare to Stretch Women’s Conference”, on Friday, November 21, 2025 and Saturday, November 22, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Highland Park. This is a two-day experience designed to ignite your faith, stretch your purpose, and awaken the fire within.

GIRL SCOUTS MINISTRY

The Girl Scouts Ministry of FBCHP is now accepting registration for scouts in grades K5 to 12th grades for 2025-2026 Girl Scout year. The Girl Scouts engage in various activities within the church, the local community, and on a global scale. Our efforts include supporting nursing homes, women’s shelters, food kitchens, women’s ministries, the Angel Tree program, and any other organizations that seek our assistance. We typically convene from September to May, meeting on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

We are also in need of adult leaders. Please, this organization can’t operate without the appropriate number of adult volunteers. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with gsministry@fbchighlandpark.org if you are interested in becoming an adult leader.
