Parents/Guardians, it is time again to submit your young scholar’s name, mailing address, GPA, and a copy of their report card, or special award certificate for the 2nd and 3rd Quarters of the 2024-2025 school year (grades K through 12). FAITH STRONG 5K WALK/RUN

Watkins Park – 301 Watkins Park Drive, Upper Marlboro, MD – Saturday, May 3, 2025 – warm up at 8:30 AM, race starts at 9:00 AM sharp – First Baptist Church of Highland Park, (in-person or virtual) cost $30 with Gray Faith Strong T-Shirt(same as last year); or $20 without T- Shirt. This promises to be a great day in which we can allow the light of Jesus to shine through our lives. AWANA CAMP

Sunday, June 29, 2025 – Tuesday, July 1, 2025 –
 Refreshing Mountain Camp, 455 Camp Road, Stevens, PA .  REGISTRATION:  Each participant must complete a registration form including sections for medical and insurance information. BALANCE DUE DATE:  All balances are due by June 22, 2025. The total cost of attending camp is $100.00 per child with a discount of $25.00 per sibling (costing $75.00).  A $25.00 non-refundable deposit is required with each registration application. The total cost includes transportation, lodging, balanced meals, snacks, all activities, and a camp T-shirt. Bus transportation will be provided from First Baptist Church of Highland Park to the Refreshing Mountain Camp and for the return trip. All campers should check in by 1 PM on Sunday, June 29th. HARVEY BROADIE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Applications are now being accepted for the 2025-2026 Harvey Broadie Scholarship. An application must be submitted each year that a scholarship is requested. You can pick up an application in the Church Administrative Office. Only First Baptist Church of Highland Park members are eligible to apply. Any questions, please contact scholarships@fbchighlandpark.org. The deadline to apply is Saturday, May 31, 2025. 

WOMEN’S MINISTRY, A DAYCATION II

Thursday, October 2, 2025, by luxury coach bus to Lancaster, PA, to see the live production “NOAH” at the Sight and Sound Theater. The cost is $180.00 (includes 7:00 AM church departure travel, bag breakfast, 11:00 AM theatre ticket, 2:00 PM buffet at Shady Maple Smorgasbord and 8:00 PM return). DIVORCE CARE

Asupport group designed to minister to adults who are going through the pain of separation or divorce. We strive to help the hurting and to bring comfort and healing through the Word of God. FABULOUS FRIDAY BIBLE STUDY
All are welcome to join us for Fabulous Friday Bible Study everyFriday at 7:00 PM via Zoom except the 3rd Friday. We study Bible History, Old Testament and New Testament, Biblical Prophecy, Eschatology and yes, we study the book of Revelation. GRIEF SHARE WINTER/SPRING 2025 SESSION VIA Zoom

Grief share is a support group and a safe welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. This 13-week (March 6, 2025 – May 29, 2025) group will help you discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. CROWN MINISTRY

The ministry is soliciting those individuals having nightmares of debt with delinquency of payments to consider becoming liberated from enslavement. The ministry gives opportunities to choose either Tuesdays 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM; –Thursdays 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM or Saturdays 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM that accommodates busy schedules making it possible to consider taking the “DFree” 12-week course.

BUSINESS BY THE BOOK

Business by the Book is an eight-week course via Zoom designed to help the business leader and entrepreneurs achieve the objectives to integrate principles from scripture with your daily business practices, to grow your business profitably, to develop leadership skills and to grow in Christ so that you will be more like Him as a business leader and entrepreneur. Classes begin March 28, 2025 and meet Thursdays 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (ET) via Zoom. The cost of the course is $30.00.
