SENIOR APPRECIATION DAY

Calling all Seniors, Family and Friends!  You are invited to join the FBCHP SENIORS in celebrating Senior Appreciation Day. We are going back to the “Old Landmark” featuring United Southern Prayer Bands of DC and Baltimore. We will be stomping and clapping on Wednesday June 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the East Sanctuary. Our Theme: Strong Seniors Stretching our Faith (Romans 1:16-17).

PHEN’S DMV PROSTATE CANCER COMMUNITY RALLY

Saturday, June 28, 2025 | 10:00 A.M. TO 3:00 P.M.  – The Prostate Health Education Network, Inc., (PHEN) is Rallying Against Prostate Cancer! Men, get your FREE early detection PSA blood screening test for prostate cancer by Howard University. Educational luncheon presentation, access to presentations, valuable resources, and medical experts. AWANA CAMP

Sunday, June 29, 2025 – Tuesday, July 1, 2025 –
 Refreshing Mountain Camp, 455 Camp Road, Stevens, PA .  REGISTRATION:  Each participant must complete a registration form including sections for medical and insurance information. BALANCE DUE DATE:  All balances are due by June 22, 2025. The total cost of attending camp is $100.00 per child with a discount of $25.00 per sibling (costing $75.00).  A $25.00 non-refundable deposit is required with each registration application. The total cost includes transportation, lodging, balanced meals, snacks, all activities, and a camp T-shirt. Bus transportation will be provided from First Baptist Church of Highland Park to the Refreshing Mountain Camp and for the return trip. All campers should check in by 1 PM on Sunday, June 29th. We will return to the church on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, by 4:00 PM. 

A representative will be available outside the bookstore on May 18, June 8, and June 22.  Donations are welcomed. If you would like to donate, please provide a cash, check, or credit card payment to the AWANA Camp Representative at the AWANA Table outside of the bookstore on the following Sundays: May 18, June 8, and June 22. Checks can be made payable to: AWANA Camp.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

DIVORCE CARE

A support group designed to minister to adults who are going through the pain of separation or divorce. We strive to help the hurting and to bring comfort and healing through the Word of God. JAM (TEEN) & AWANA (YOUTH) MINISTRIES

Come join us for the AWANA (Grades K-2/ages 3 – 4); Grades 3 – 6; and JAM Teen Ministry (Grades 7 – 12). FABULOUS FRIDAY BIBLE STUDY

We study Bible History, Old Testament and New Testament, Biblical Prophecy, Eschatology and yes, we study the book of Revelation. Join the Sunday Biblical Institute Youth Department would like for you to join us every 1st, 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM. We have classes for Pre-K through 12th grade.

2nd through 4th grade: Fellowship Hall
5th through 8th grade: Upper Wyatt Annex
9th through 12th grade: James J. McCord Education Building, Room 103 (Classroom G)

CROWN MINISTRY

The ministry is soliciting those individuals having nightmares of debt with delinquency of payments to consider becoming liberated from enslavement. The ministry gives opportunities to choose either Tuesdays 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM; –Thursdays 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM or Saturdays 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM that accommodates busy schedules making it possible to consider taking the “DFree” 12-week course.
