Greetings FBCHP Family and Friends!

First Baptist Church of Highland Park (FBCHP) leadership encourages each congregant, family member and friend to complete the Health Services Survey accessible via the QR Code on the attached flyer. As a contributing affiliate member organization of the Prince George’s Leadership Action Network (PLAN), we are aggressively soliciting responses to this important survey. One of PLAN’s goals reads thusly: Engaging leaders across the divides of race, culture, income, faith, and neighborhood in order to initiate public action on their issues (e.g. affordable housing, public safety, youth, etc.). We believe strongly in PLAN’s efforts to address the disparities in our community and are, therefore, actively playing our part. The lack of sufficient medical services has been identified as a major issue negatively impacting the residents of Prince George’s County. To better understand the input that our clergy, lay leaders and organizers have already received from experts in the field, we invite you to read the attached working paper, “Prince George’s County: A Medical Desert.”

The purpose of the survey is to understand the experiences that residents of the county are having as they attempt to access healthcare for themselves and their loved ones. You may  Clicking Here to access a copy of the survey.
